UCGIS is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all symposium participants. All attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff are expected to treat others with professionalism and courtesy.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, unwelcome comments or conduct related to race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, nationality, professional status, or any other personal characteristic.
Participants are expected to respect personal boundaries, follow venue and event guidelines, and contribute to a collegial environment. Anyone asked to stop inappropriate behavior is expected to comply immediately.
Concerns may be reported to symposium organizers or UCGIS staff. UCGIS reserves the right to take appropriate action, including warning the participant, removing them from the event without refund, or prohibiting participation in future UCGIS events.
